Little is known about Giovanni Ferrari (or possibly Ferrario), who wrote a Latin ode to Mussolini that was printed in 1932 (Ferrari 1932). Referred to as a giovane fascista (‘young Fascist’), he was likely between 18 and 21 years old when he composed the poem. He composed it in Guardiagrele, a town in the Abruzzo region of central Italy.
