Balboni, Gaetano
Very little is known of Gaetano
Balboni. He worked in close collaboration with Ermanno Neri, and together they
wrote educational material in addition to an edition and commentary of Lucretius’
De rerum natura (Sacré 2020: 30). The same duo also produced a
translation of the works of St. Basil the Great (Balboni & Neri 1938).
Furthermore, Balboni wrote a book with parallel exercises for Greek and Latin
(Balboni 1940). More research on Balboni’s life and work is needed.
