Very little is currently known about Ermanno Neri (d. 1951). He was a teacher and a priest in Siena (Accademia degli Intronati 1951: 346). As a teacher in secondary school, he wrote educational material for high schools as well as a commentary on Lucretius together with Gaetano Balboni (Balbini and Neri 1935–1940). He is not to be confused with the Spanish anti-fascist of the same name (b. 1898). More research on Neri’s life and work is needed.
