Lo Parco, Francesco

Biography

Not much is currently known about Francesco Lo Parco (1872–1944) from Ariano Irpino (Campania). He taught Italian at several secondary schools and was a professor of humanist literature at the University of Naples (Guerrriero 1979: 165n386). He wrote extensively on Petrarch and Renaissance humanism. In addition, he participated in some of the certamina arranged by the Instituto di Studi Romani (Sacré 2020: 18). More research on Lo Parco’s life and work is needed.
